General
These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or by post with Rural Clothing/Livens Ltd. These terms and conditions do not apply to physical instore transactions. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.
By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. All transactions with Rural Clothing/Livens Ltd will be governed by these terms and conditions.
All references to the “company”, “us” or “we” will refer to Rural Clothing/Livens Ltd. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. All references to the Web Site shall include reference to all URL’s owned by Livens Ltd.
Prices
All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Orders
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods; Online transaction (secure server), e-mail (unsecure),or telephone. Please refer to our Payment section for details. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorized by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Maestro and Solo. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorize payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.
Delivery
Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. Charges for the different delivery services can be obtained from us on +44 (0)1283 568661 and are also listed within the Delivery and Payment page. All delivery charges are subject to change without prior notice.
Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales and a maximum of thirty days. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made, an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.
In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company’s appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.
We do not export any items outside the UK.
Instore Collection
We are pleased to accept orders for in-store collection. Once your item is ready, we will hold it for up to 3 months. After this period, your order will be marked as completed, and no refund will be issued.
For items on backorder, the 3-month holding period begins when the item is back in stock, and you have been notified for collection.
Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Livens Ltd and strive to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please write a letter explaining the reasons / issues and send it back to us together with the products original packaging and labeling within 14 days. We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.
If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please write a letter giving details of the fault and send it back to us together with the item in its original packaging, where possible, within 30 days. We will exchange the item or refund the full cost including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate. If you are in any doubt, please contact us on +44 (0)1283 568661. We are here to help you. We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.
Products
Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated. Every effort is made to ensure the colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.
Guarantee
All products offered are guaranteed for a period of 12 months unless otherwise stated from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. In the event of a warranty claim, please return the item with a copy of the original receipt to us at:

The guarantee does not cover for used (beyond 30 days for faulty and
14 days unwanted), accidental and deliberate damage, tampering with the
item or improper use.
The item needs to be complete when returning including all accessories, original box and manuals.
If the item becomes faulty within 12 months of purchase, please
notify us first by email and await a reply. We may then ask you to
return to us at your own expense, including all accessories, original
box and manuals. Once the item has been received by us, it will be
thoroughly inspected for the above misuse and if a manufacturing fault
is found, the item will be repaired or replaced, in the event we are out
of stock of the item a refund will be offered.
We can not refund any unwanted item that is returned to us in used
condition, broken without original box, manuals and accessories.
Any
warranty offered does not cover items broken with force, such as cocking
handles, plastic bodyshells, wings, etc, etc and does not cover gun
stocks.
Please Note: BATTERIES & CHARGERS ARE EXCLUDED from our normal
warranty, as they are susceptible to overcharging No returns or refunds
can be accepted with clearance and sale items purchased in-store, as
these may have been brought on a no warranty or return basis and are
thus sold on a no or return basis.
Please identify clearly the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition, otherwise they may be returned to you without attention. Further advice is available by contacting us during office hours +44 (0)1283 568661.
Your right to cancel

Your right to a refund
You should get a refund within 14 days of us getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office).
All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods. Should you require your unwanted goods to be collected, we will deduct the appointed couriers direct costs from the refund given.
We can not refund any unwanted item that is returned to us in used
condition, broken without original box, manuals and accessories.
Any

Force Majeure
We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer’s liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.

Any information displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.
Pricing and Description Errors
Prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.
Ownership of Goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Livens Ltd until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
Complaints
Any complaint or compliment can be sent to us at Livens Ltd. We will endeavour to deal with your complaint within five working days of receipt. In the event where we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will advise a likely time scale to you and keep you informed of any investigation.

You can browse our site without disclosing any personal data to us. Any links to third party web sites are covered by the third parties privacy policies.
