Tapered octagon barrel. Ballard-style rifling. It looks the part for the open range, but beneath the richly blued finish, classic black walnut stock and fore- end, beats the receiver of a precision-tuned modern firearm. The Model 1894 Cowboy has a 20″ tapered octagon barrel and is chambered for 44 Magnum. Ten-shot tubular magazine.
